The Dunsborough Country Club is located just minutes from the town centre, nestled within 55 hectares of natural bushland. Surrounded by Jarrah, Marri, Sheoak and Peppermint trees — and with glimpses of Geographe Bay — the club offers an exceptional setting for sport, recreation and community connection.
Our facilities are spread across a peaceful and scenic reserve, home to native wildflowers and Western Grey Kangaroos. With ample parking and a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, the club caters to both competitive sport and relaxed social gatherings.
Sporting Facilities
The Dunsborough Country Club is home to six active sport and recreation areas. Each facility is maintained to a high standard and is open to members, casual users and visitors.
- Golf Course: 18-hole sand green course with ocean views. Affordable green fees and a relaxed, walk-on environment make it popular with locals and visitors alike.
- Bowling Greens: Two high-quality synthetic greens used for social bowls, pennants and competitions.
- Croquet Lawns: Two full-size croquet lawns, with plans for a third to accommodate strong demand and growth in the sport.
- Tennis Courts: Six courts, including two synthetic and four hard courts, with night lighting for evening play.
- Mountain Bike Trails: Access to 10km of trails on-site, linking to the wider Meelup Trails network for a total of 21km. Suitable for all levels and used for major events.
- Mind Sports: Canasta and Mahjong are played in the clubhouse, providing indoor social opportunities and inclusive recreation.
Clubhouse and Social Areas
The clubhouse is a central hub for members and visitors, combining hospitality, function spaces and a welcoming atmosphere. Facilities include:
- Licensed Sportsman’s Bar with competitive prices
- Dining room for weekly carvery nights and member functions
- Enclosed activity room for social and mind games
- Commercial-grade kitchen (available for event catering)
- Outdoor alfresco area with seating
- Separate male and female changerooms
- Presentation screen and club-wide sound system
Venue Hire
Our clubhouse and grounds are available for private hire and community events. We offer a range of flexible spaces to suit events of all sizes:
- Main Function Room – up to 225 people
- Sportsman’s Bar – up to 50 people
- Outdoor Patio Area – up to 60 people
- Combined venue capacity – up to 381 people
The venue is ideal for meetings, celebrations, presentations and sporting tournaments. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a large community function, we can help configure a space to suit your needs.
Parking and Access
On-site parking is available for up to 85 vehicles, including 55 sealed bays. Additional unsealed parking and accessible bays are available during peak times. The club is located adjacent to the Old Dunsborough Hall and is easily accessed via Gibney Street.
Open and Accessible
While many members are regular participants in sports, the club also welcomes casual users. Many of our outdoor facilities are open seven days a week, and we continue to explore new ways to make our club accessible and engaging for all.
