Bruce’s Weekly Update 09/12/14

I trust you had an enjoyable weekend.

The Club was kept busy with all sports enjoying the weather.

Men’s Thursday Social bowls attracted 43 players. On Saturday in the pennant derby, White beat Blue 5 points to 1. On Sunday White beat Cowaramup 6 points to nil.

Corporate Bowls is going well with everyone having a great time.

The Members jackpot was not won and will be at $700.00 this Friday.

Steve Reagan will be cooking at the Club for the Friday night dinner this week Dinner Menu 12 12 2014 with the Croquet section as the kitchen helpers. Bookings can be made via phone, email or the foyer booking sheet. Please book by midday Friday.

Junior Bowls

Congratulations to all juniors for a great start to the season. Thanks to the parents and club helpers for your support so far this season. I would like to wish everyone very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Please note, next Monday (15/12/14) will be the last junior bowls session for the season.

Around 30 parents from Our Lady of the Cape primary school gathered at the Club on Saturday afternoon for a social bowl and a couple of cold beverages. They all very much enjoyed themselves and the Clubs facilities.

The Australian hearing bus will be at the Country Club on 17th December for free hearing tests. Information is attached.
