It was a quiet weekend for golf with the AFL Grand Final and all – but

The DDCC Vets group did well at Pemberton on Friday with Mark Embry celebrating his rise to OBE status by being Runner Up with a score of 41, just one point behind the winning OBE score of 42.  Ken Littlefair also did well scoring a 38, Ron Carmody 37, Barry Jackson and Jim Parry on 35. We all managed to win a golf ball from the event which was won by a great score of 46.
