Bowls

After their victory today against Margaret River,  Dunsborough Blue fished on top of the ladder and will play Augusta at Dunsborugh next Tuesday in the Ladies Pennants final.  Good luck ladies.

The Corporate Bowls season has now ended with Hunters & Gatherers winning the Tuesday night competition and Bar McFlys once again proving their staying power by taking out the Wednesday night games thus winning both rounds.  Congratulations to both teams.

Seven teams have been selected for the Cowaramup challenge which will be hosted by Cowaramup on Wednesday March 4th commencing at 6pm sharp.

The teams selected from Tuesday night are Bring Back the Grass, Hunters & Gatherers, Plan B and Team Norton which came in after Tales Never Fail pulled out due to previous commitments.  The Wednesday teams are Bar McFlys, White Shoe Shufflers and Ring-Ins.

This was a fantastic fun season for the bowlers and the organising committee would like to thank all teams for their enthusiasm and support for the club. All volunteers who worked over the twelve weeks are to be thanked for their commitment and desire to help.

A huge thanks to all our sponsors including Knee Deep, Palmers, Wise Winery, Windance Wines, Forrestor Wines,  Amigos, Artezan, Rivendel, Eagle Bay Brewery Company and a new sponsor Solutions for Hair.  Beef by the Reef were amazing donating two large legs of Christmas ham and another surprise donation came in the form of five huge crayfish and a super sized fish from Ben Tass’s son Mark and friends.

Good luck to the teams representing the Dunsborough & Districts Country Club, bring back the trophy!
