Consolation : T Ferguson, C Dawson
MB Award : W Hoover, L Munrow
Saturday May 28th
Everyone is reminded that Saturday bowls are 12 noon for 12.30 start.
15 bowlers were active and the day was won by M Hines and A Gil with the R/U being W Coyle and M Holmes.
Best drive of the day was for J Hoover. Against S Chester and W Hoover, the opposition was holding three shots with bare space between shot bowl and jack, a superb bowl went through and just escaped a touch on opposition, took the jack back to foot from ditch. Cheers please!
Then the one who just loves a drive, did just that and took the jack to the edge of the ditch along with his bowl. His second bowl then came and took the jack into the ditch along with his bowl. M Patterson then said he had the audacity to turn around and ask for a “high five” from her, the opposition! They were two really good bowls from W Hoover. Two best shots of the day!
K Holyoak still stays on top of the ladder for the Dash for Cash with Ed Bunbury a close second.
Mens shirts : We are still awaiting a few men to give us their sizes, please get in touch with K Gibb.

COACHING AND PLAY
Junior Golf (Sunday 5th of June)
Junior golf coaching with Steve Dartnall commenced on Sunday 29th with 7 Juniors
taking part. Steve gave an hour of instruction and helped the children practise the
skills. Then two groups of Juniors went off and played a few holes to practise their
new skills.
A big thank you to Geoff Oddy for taking one of the groups around the course-much
appreciated!!!
I am sure the Juniors will learn a great deal from Steve’s coaching of which Don &
Judy Henderson have most kindly offered to sponsor – a HUGE thank you Don &
Judy -it is people like you who make our community a great place to be!
This week junior golf will be at 10am -we will practise a few skills and then play 4
holes of golf or more if desired. Steve is unavailable for the next 2 weeks.
Thank you to the parents for the support of their children on the day.
If any other children would like to come along please feel most welcome to do so- it
would be great to get a Junior Club happening again.
If you require information please contact me on 0428649810.
See you Sunday!
