A huge thank you to all of those who spent time on Sunday 28 January assisting the fundraising effort for DDCC Tennis Section at the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle. All of the work was carried out with great humour and so many people during the day made light of the work. The weather was pleasant and some of the shoppers made the day very interesting.
Thank you to the early risers, Terry Hodges, Rob & Bay Wilson, Yvee & Ray Hirst, followed during the day by Lorraine Lewis, Nita Pratt, Barb Noble, Lorraine Slater, David Murrish, Ralph Upton, Jim Davies, Gwen and Arnold Bosenberg, Paige Newhill with helpers, Claire & Bridget, Kim Pearce, Bob Waterman, John McCallum and Brian & Kerry Walker. The clean up shift was Brian & Kerry, Terry, Gwen & Arnold, John and Rob & Bay with that wonderfully useful ute. Thanks also to Bruce Taylor who was up at 5.30 am to enable us to load and be on our way on Sunday. Thank you to all that gave their time – what a fabulous crew!
