Hello Members, Sponsors & Patron
It is with deep sadness that we acknowledge the passing of a long standing member of our club. Bob Randall passed away peacefully on June 22nd. His funeral will be held on Thursday June 30th at 11am at the William Barrett & Sons, Bantry Chapel in Busselton followed by a wake at the Country Club at 12.30pm. The club extends deepest sympathy to Hanna and all family members.
The men’s Captain Rob Pollard wishes to advise members not to wear club colours when attending this funeral. He also announced the cancellation of Thursday bowls.
Bob was a quiet calm person with a dry sense of humour and was extremely well respected within the clubhouse. He was one of the best leads in bowling and all skips wanted him in their team. Whilst playing bowls right handed, he played golf with a south paw which is rather unusual. He will be missed by us all.
There is still tickets available for the Keith Potger show on Sunday, August 7th which can be purchased either through your sporting section or from the bar at a cost of $30.
For those who are involved in the Club Footy Tipping competition please be aware there is Thursday night games for 4 weeks. Please ensure your tips are in before bounce down on Thursday.

Tennis News
Despite wintry conditions, the Tennis Section continues to attract good numbers to Saturday Social Tennis and without exception, more players than can be accommodated on the available four (4) courts. This does however allow those sitting and watching to socialise and get to know each other a little more. We are now using utilising computer-generated sets on Saturdays to ensure there is a good mix for all levels of players. It is also pleasing to see most players retiring to the Clubrooms to enjoy tapas and drinks following the afternoon’s play. The Ladies’ morning on Thursdays is also attracting good numbers and enthusiastic players for any who may wish to join in this group.
Thanks also to Faye for providing the citrus fruit for all to enjoy.
