There will be a 5year Plan Members Open Forum on Thursday 27th August at 6.00pm being held at the Dunsborough & Districts Country Club . The forum will discuss future Club plans and direction for the next 5 years. All are invited to attend
Bowls News
There has been good support for the Tuesday Mixed Scroungers with numbers starting to regularly exceeding 20. It’s a great fun afternoon. Turn up by 1.00pm for 1.30 start.
Golf News
LADIES GOLF:- Last Thursday, saw the first round of the Ladies Championships. The Gross Winner with an excellent score of 93 was Vicki Frost, who also narrowly pipped Pat Manton on nett 73 for the Nett Winner’s prize. – Well done Vicki!
Nett Runner Up Pat Manton 74 closely followed by Bethia Newton on a countback from Nancy Williams with both on nett 73. The minor prize winners were Aileen Morris and Vicki Frost. Good luck to all players in the next 2 rounds.

“Tennis Members have welcomed the return to Saturday Social Tennis of Bill Franssen. Bill, who is over 80 years of age, has recently had surgery for a hip replacement and following his recuperation has clearly lost none of his fitness, zest to play and skill on the court.”

The following trail care days are planned for the remainder of 2015…
- Sunday 23 August (tree planting) – we need at least 6 people to help

- Sunday 18 October (Cape to Cape Race preparation)
- Sunday 22 November
Meet at the Country Club, 40 Gifford Road, at 8.25 am. Please put these dates in your diary. A reminder will be sent closer to the time.
