Hello Members, Sponsors & Patron

The Old Times of Dunsborough

Thanks to those who joined us for this event, and for making it such a memorable night.

Don’t worry if you couldn’t make it-

USBs with the slide show plus photos taken on the night will be available from Dunsborough Bendigo Bank as of Tuesday 14th June at the cost of $20.

Please feel free to let others know about the availability of the photo USBs. They are a great record of the development of the town.

Any queries please contact Trish on 0428229445 or admin@dycci.com.au

ALSO,

are you interested to be involved in recording Dunsborough’s History??

The Oral History Group of Busselton is seeking volunteers who would like to assist with recording the reminiscences of Dunsborough residents. Training and equipment would be provided. Future plans would be to establish our own Oral History Group.

This is a fascinating and rewarding project- meet some wonderful people and add to the history archives of our town.

Please contact Margaret Dawson on mmcedawson@bigpond.com or 0427560373 if you would like to be involved.

NINE HOLES

7 ladies came to play golf on Tuesday 7th June despite the inclement weather.

However, only Beth Jackson, Mary Hummerston and Kay Filmer ended up playing six holes of an Ambrose , while the other four stopped in the clubrooms and drank coffee. What’s more the four went home and didn’t wait for the players to come in.!!!

EIGHTEEN HOLES

June 9th  13 ladies played  a  stableford.

Captain Nancy Williams was away, so Vicki Frost stepped in to run the day.

Winner with 35 points was Joan Embry,

Runner up was Vicki Frost with 34 points, on a countback from Lyn Flugge.

Nearest the pin on 8 was Aileen Morris , and longest putt on 18 Helen South.

THOUGHT OF THE WEEK.

Would you rather be perfect or human?
