TENNIS NEWS
Challenging weather has proved a dampener for tennis over the last week and weekend, however it has not totally disrupted those enthusiastic players who dodged the rain on Friday afternoon (rescheduled from the Thursday which was very threatening weather) as well as Paige and Andrew’s coaching sessions. The Cardio Tennis session run by Andrew on Tuesdays mornings continues to be popular and commences at 9.00 am. Fitness and fun – what could be better! A number of our regular players have taken the opportunity to travel northbound in Australia as well as to European destinations for the northern summer.
Organised tennis continues throughout the winter and we look forward to a break in the weather this week to get back onto the courts.

CROQUET NEWS
14/40
Max Kewish is currently running two sessions a week to teach this new format of the game.
The Croquet Section is pleased with the response, and looks forward to these players joining permanently.
14/40 has been introduced in an effort to curb the decline of Association Croquet. The game uses AC strokes but, like the more popular Golf Croquet, players remain on the court for the whole game.
