SAYING OF THE DAY.
THE GENEROSITY OF YOUR TIME IS THE MOST VALUABLE GIFT YOU CAN GIVE.
TENNIS NEWS
A “Busy Bee” by the Tennis Section saw an enthusiastic and collaborative group remove the old synthetic material from two courts over the weekend. The material was very, very heavy, especially with the overnight rain and the wet sand in the fabric, however determination and developing a system as we worked proved successful and the base is now ready for the roll-out of the new synthetic courts this week. Weeding around the bank was also included by the workers. The removal of this fabric by members represents a significant saving in the cost of the courts and therefore we are extremely grateful to all who gave up their weekend to achieve this result.
