We had a very busy week and an especially busy weekend at the Club.
Tuesday was the Dunsborough– Busselton Bowls Challenge which had around 80 bowlers take part.
On Tuesday evening the Club hosted the Liberal Party Bi-Election function with local candidate Libby Mettam, Barry House and Premier Colin Barnett in attendance.
The Management team from Carlton United Brewery came for a game of bowls and a few drinks on Wednesday.
46 Bowlers played in the Social Competition on Thursday.
The Members Jackpot went unclaimed and is now $800 for this Friday’s draw.
Friday night we had around 70 in for dinner. Kirsty is cooking Thai Green Chicken this week (menu attached). Bookings can be made via phone, email or the foyer booking sheet. Tennis are this
week’s kitchen helpers.
Libby Bower celebrated her 40th Birthday and Wedding Anniversary on Saturday night with 80 friends. The night was an 80’s theme with great music and costumes.
Sunday was the Mr B Triples followed by the King of the Cape Fishing Competition presentation.
The bar will now be open from 4.00pm on a Monday. Thank you Estelle.

Don’t forget this Sunday at 10.00am is the Clubs AGM. A copy of the Clubs Audit Report is available for voting members. I have the reports available in the office.
I inferred last week Wayne Barnett was at the Club with the Liberal Party, my apologies he is the Candidate for the Australian Christians.
We have the Melbourne Cup Luncheon on Tuesday 4th of November (tickets available at the Bar) and the Drifters on the 7th November (tickets available at http://www.troutprom.com)
The Cape to Cape is finishing at the Club on Sunday 26th October. The Club is running a food stall and we require volunteers to help on the day. It is a profitable day for the Club and If you are able to assist please contact me. Your help is very much appreciated.
