The number of people who offered to help was fantastic! People volunteered time, food and a lot of effort to conduct a very successful weekend of golf with 102 ladies playing Saturday and 102 playing Sunday. Some volunteers did not even belong to the golf section and we sincerely thank them- we could not have run the weekend without your help! Thank you!

The comments about our lovely Club facility and the excellent condition of the course were overwhelming!!

These type of events highlight and promote our Club and makes it known far and wide that we have something very special here at the DDCC. “Super effort” to ALL volunteers who contributed on the weekend.

Thank you for all the donations of food and time. A special mention for the ladies who manned the kitchen and their admiral leaders Beth, May, Pat & Gaye- a sterling job by all!

Thanks to all the ladies who manned the raffles, gave out gift bags, made and packed sandwiches, served soup, set up tables, cleared tables & washed up, cooked, cleaned decorated and all the other jobs- it was a superb effort.

To all the men who spotted out on the course, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, as we wouldn’t have been able to get the big field through without your help. We hope you enjoyed those after drinks!

Thank you to Rob, the Chef, for helping us with the food requirements for so many ladies over the weekend. The kitchen worked extremely well with everyone working together under Rob’s valued guidance.
