The Management Committee has finalised the 5 Year Strategic Plan and at a Special General Meeting held on Sunday 6 June 2021 approval for the plan was given by the meeting. The Management Committee are now meeting with the City of Busselton (CoB) representatives to prepare for implementation of the significant projects detailed in that plan.
The plan was prepared with input from all sporting sections as well as City of Busselton personnel and a number of priority projects were identified. Please refer to OBJECTIVE 4 – Facilities on P. 18 of the Strategic Plan for a summary and a possible timeline of these projects.
Members only: Send all comments on the plan to secretary@
Revised DDCC Rules of Association
The Club Rules of Association have been revised according to the requirements under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015. This revision finalises the alignment of the club rules with the Model Rules proposed by the Associations Division (Department of Commerce) and updates the club rules brought about by the change to the club’s liquor license. Other changes clarify categories of membership, the operation of General Meetings and the annual club elections.
At a Special General Meeting held on Sunday 6 June 2021 the members present at that meeting reviewed the changes and gave approval for the revised rules to be presented to the AGM in September 2021 in a Special Resolution to be endorsed as the new rules for the club. Subsequent to that meeting, and if approved, the new Rules of Association will be sent to the Department of Commerce for stamping when they will then become the club’s official Rules of Association.
