    VOLUNTEERS MAKE OUR

    CLUB

    Our DDCC Members have an

    amazing attitude to

volunteering of which they should be very, very proud!!

Last weekend the South West District Ladies Golf Association conducted the 2019 SW Championships at the Club.

The number of people who offered to help was fantastic! People volunteered time, food and a lot of effort to conduct a very successful weekend of golf with 102 ladies playing Saturday and 102 playing Sunday. Some volunteers did not even belong to the golf section and we sincerely thank them- we could not have run the weekend without your help! Thank you!

The comments about our lovely Club facility and the excellent condition of the course were overwhelming!!

These type of events highlight and promote our Club and makes it known far and wide that we have something very special here at the DDCC. “Super effort” to ALL volunteers who contributed on the weekend.

    YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!!

SWDLGA CHAMPIONSHIPS

A huge thank you to all golf members (men & ladies) for their phenomenal effort over the weeks leading up to and including the 3 day golf weekend at the Club. Your team work was exemplary and a credit to one and all!!!

Thank you for all the donations of food and time. A special mention for the ladies who manned the kitchen and their admiral leaders Beth, May, Pat & Gaye- a sterling job by all!

Thanks to all the ladies who manned the raffles, gave out gift bags, made and packed sandwiches, served soup, set up tables, cleared tables & washed up, cooked, cleaned decorated and all the other jobs- it was a superb effort.

To all the men who spotted out on the course, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts, as we wouldn’t have been able to get the big field through without your help. We hope you enjoyed those after drinks!

Thank you to Rob, the Chef, for helping us with the food requirements for so many ladies over the weekend. The kitchen worked extremely well with everyone working together under Rob’s valued guidance.

To our bar person Leanne we say a big thank you for your work behind the bar -much appreciated Leanne!

A special thanks must go to Ron Carmody for all the work he does above and beyond all expectations- nothing is ever too much for Ron- those new hole direction signs look fantastic Ron!! Thank you!

Lastly, a huge thank you to the shed crew, ably led by Barry Jackson, for all their work out on the course- we had so many positive comments and it is credit to you all!!
