Hello all members, sponsors & patrons
The weekends wild weather put a dampener on sporting activities around the Club. Staying at home on the couch watching the football was the most popular choice.
We had 35 bowlers roll up for Men’s Thursday Social bowls and 23 for Tuesday Scroungers

Course Renovation and Maintenance
Burn Off With the spare few days available last week we were able to complete a very good clean up burn giving us a chance to carry on with our planned reno and maintenance plan.
Thanks to the team of willing volunteers you will be able to enjoy the fruits of your labours during the rest of the season. There should not be any lost golf balls in the drains in the future.
Storm Cleanup However the heavy weekend rains called for another Busy Bee on Monday 18th morning as the drains at culvert crossover drains in several areas were choked with run off leaves and debris .
Thanks again to the team who answered the call and set us right for golf to carry on

Cycle Section News
Some brave club members battled challenging conditions on Sunday to compete in the Dwellingup 40km ride. Well done MTB warriors!
A trail care day was held on Sunday. This was very timely as a clean up was required after the storm. Several trees blocked the trails and were removed. Thanks to Rod Brown, Mike Longman, Ian Lightfoot, Mark Webster, Danielle Clark, Brendan Webster and Chris Parkinson for their great efforts and keeping the trail safe.
Caution signs have been placed at a new log rollover below the berms on Bojangles trail. The tree was too big to move and we now have a new feature. A b-line is planned in the near future. Caution signs have also been placed on the Slalom where one section was flooded adjacent to the school.
